This week owned me!
Last Updated on Monday, 01 March 2010 02:47 Written by Oddzuki
This week was tough. Not so much like last week. Last week was tough as well, don't get me wrong, but in a complete and different way. I've still stayed with using EA Wii Sports Active for my exercises and it's still doing a great job of keeping me motivated. But... there are many reasons why I had still had a tough time. It happened on multiple levels, physically, mentally, and patience..er..ally. Let's hit all fronts, shall we?
Physically:
I can honestly say that this week was absolutely the hardest week since I began exercising. I've had some ups and downs with my health. My stomach, was acting up a bit, my sinuses were slowly clogging up all week, and my head was throbbing off and on. My schedule was messed up at least 3 times. There was one day that I switched from my normal 30 to 35 minute routine to a shorter, less vigorous, and more sports like routine (15 minutes). Not to mention that my eating was REALLY off this week. Lack of time, planning, and focus is what I attribute to that front. But this past week, I missed tracking my calories as well. All in all, on this front, it was pretty much a major FAIL!
Mentally:
Work has picked up significantly. And with that comes stress. Everyone says that "It's the type of stress that you want". But honestly, I'd rather enjoy the fact that work is busy, we have plenty of inquiries for new business, and it doesn't seem like it's slowing down any time soon instead of thinking to myself "ZOMG I'm NOT GOING TO GET IT ALL DONE IN TIME ZOMG2WTFBBQSAUCE". (which is the case more often than not) We pride ourselves on the fact that every one of our clients are our most important clients! So with the large amounts of work in front of us, my mind has been focused on completing tasks. And by mid week, we get a few calls wanting to set meetings for new projects. The work keeps piling on, and I'm stoked for what it means for our business, and now that I'm feeling better, I think that mentally, I can really get back on my game.
Patienc-ally:

I'm creating this word for this post. My patience this week has been minimal. If you're a designer, you have encountered those clients that cause you to live out this-->
That being said, it's time to prep for the next week. Hopefully I'll get around to actually making a video blog or two this week, some reviews, ambitions are high!
Oh, and btw, time for mega large weigh in text of the week! Cause I've lost some more weight (even with my struggles):
209.4 lbs
Less than 10 lbs back to One-derland (Instead of Onederland... then it would just sound like O nederland. That'd just be weird).
